Bitterfield amber originates from
Germany. Most of it comes from Eocene epoch deposits at the Goitzsche
Mine. Bitterfield amber is similar to Baltic amber and is millions of
years old. It often contains inclusions and comes in a range of colors
from milky white, orange, red and yellow.
This particular piece has a beautiful swirl of caramel orange and milky-white. It is unsearched
and unpolished. It weighs 1.98 grams and is ready for your collection
cabinet or jewelry-making.
