These are small fragments of natural lightning-glass (fulgurite) that was found in the silica-rich sand dunes of the Saharan desert.  When lightning strikes the ground, these fragile, glass-like formations are created.  These are small fragments that broke off from larger pieces and they are an inexpensive way to own a genuine piece of Saharan fulgurite.  Saharan fulgurites are known for being rich in the rare mineral form called lechatelierite.

You are purchasing ONE large or two small fragments selected from the larger lot shown.  Refer to the photo.  The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included.  Your purchase will include a labeled gemjar for safe storage.
