Indochinite tektites were formed hundreds of thousands of years ago when a massive meteorite impacted the Earth. Molten debris from the catastrophic impact was thrown high into the atmosphere and then fell back to Earth as odd glass-like objects. The objects are called tektites and these particular tektites come from Thailand (hence the name Indochinite). Each tektite is unique and could be considered a fossil object. Their composition is very strange - not quite Earthly, but not quite meteorite either. This offer is for ONE tektite similar to the ones shown in the photo - each tektite is unique and individual appearance may vary. Each Indochinite comes with a label.
The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included.
