Do you have an iron meteorite that is rusting or is oozing corrosion? 

Did you know that simple sanding or treating it with chemicals like WD-40 will not work to prevent rusting?

Many iron meteorites will begin to rust or corrode, and once the process begins, it is difficult to stop completely.  Most meteorite owners will remove the visible rust with a wire-brush, spray the specimen with a "rust preventative" like WD-40, and then bake the specimen in an oven.  This will remove some of the superficial rust, and it will work for a very short period of time - but the specimen will always rust again and need further treatments.

Pat Mulvany is an expert in iron meteorites and their conservation.  He was painstakingly developed a secret process that not only removes the rust on the specimen, but it completely stabilizes the specimen and prevents future rusting issues.   Besides removing rust, Pat removes all internal contaminants that are hidden and cause deterioration problems.  When Pat is finished with your iron meteorite, it will be stable and rust-free for many years to come.  His process works on any iron meteorite or stony-iron meteorite (including pallasites or rusters like Nantan). 

I am Mr. Mulvany's authorized representative, and I will put you in contact with him so you can begin the healing process for your sick meteorite.  The fee for this service varies with the size of the specimen and how "far gone" it is - the amount of work needed will depend on how badly rusted the meteorite is.
