This is a glass bottle that has a cork stopper. Inside the bottle is a small Fulgurite (petrified lightning). The bottle has a label on it adorned with a lightning bolt symbol.
Fulgurites are formed when lightning strikes the silica-rich sand dunes
in the Saharan Desert. The same nomads who pick up meteorites, also
harvest these fulgurites. These have a bumpy, glassy texture and some
are hollow. Each one is different and represents natures glass-making
process.
Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included.
