This stunning hand-carved and polished
pendant is made from meteorite stone (NWA 869). This piece has
exceptional form, cut, and polish. The finding and chain is Sterling
Silver. This pendant was made by master lapidary artist Jason Borst,
and it is of the highest quality. I am not the best photographer, and
the photos do not do this piece justice.
This pendant is very colorful and has glittering metal flecks that glint in the light. There are also chondrules and clasts of contrasting colors.
This pendant measures approx. 20mm x 10mm and the necklace chain measures 16-inches long by 2mm.Your purchase includes an attractive gift box and label card. Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included.
The meteorite used to form the pendant is a stony type of meteorite (L4-6 chondrite) that was first recovered from the Saharan Desert of Algeria in the 1990's. It was traded out of Morocco and hand-crafted by Jason Borst in Ireland.
