Tulia (b) is an attractive L6 chondrite that was first discovered in 1917 in Swisher County Texas.  The area is also home to other meteorite finds and at first this find was not recognized as being seperate from the Tulia (a) H5 chondrite find.  The legendary Harvey Nininger was involved the Tulia finds and he is the one who brought it to the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History.  This meteorite shows a mottled matrix with metal fleck.
