These are very nice tourmaline stones that have been shaped into cabochons and then polished.  These tourmalines are called "watermelon" because the predominate colors are green, pink, red and black.  Some of the stones have all 3 or 4 colors.  These cabochons would make great jewelry as-is, but they could also be dopped and shaped further.   This tourmaline hails from Sri Lanka and comes from an old gemstore stock.  The larger stones are multicarat, while the smaller stones are about one carat each.  You get your choice or 2 small stones or 1 large stone from the lot shown in the photo (leave me a note with your order).  The black centimeter scale cube is shown for size comparison and is not included.
