Ammonite fossils from Morocco and Madagascar. These are the remains of ancient extinct sea creatures that resemble a nautilus. The fossilized shells are intricately beautiful and contain colorful crystals of minerals like calcite and hematite. Some have an iridescent quality that is referred to as "ammolite".
