<title><![CDATA[Solenastrea Hyades - Pliocene Fossil Coral from Florida]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[<table border="0" cellpadding="8"><tr><td><a href="http://www.galactic-stone.com/product/solenastrea-hyades--pliocene-fossil-coral-from-florida"><img src="http://images.buyitsellit.com/2812494_80.jpg" alt="" border="0"></a></td><td><strong>$39.00</strong><br />This large piece of fossilized coral measures approx. three inches by two inches and weighs 33 grams.&nbsp; It is a fine example of Solenastrea Hyades coral from the late Pliocene period.&nbsp; This specimen was found on a south-central Florida beach after a powerful storm churned up the bottom and littered the beach with finds.

time capsule from the ancient days when Florida was completely
underwater.
